Hello and thanks for visiting! If you're here, that means you're searching for a bit more information about me than what you can discover from my work.  

Here's a little insight into my life.

I was born and raised in the little town of St. Charles, MI, where we have just as many bars as we do churches, and there were a whopping 88 students in my graduating class. It was in that little town that I inherited my addiction to horses from my mom; I was riding a horse, strapped to her chest, before I could walk! I moved to the great city of Grand Rapids, MI, to attend Kendall College of Art and Design in 2012, and quickly fell in love with the West side of the state. In 2014, I had the amazing opportunity to spend two weeks in Malmö and Stockholm, Sweden with the Kendall College Study Abroad program.  We met up with fellow design students at Malmö University and were able to immerse ourselves into their culture and wonder at the ways that they implement design in every aspect of their lives. After I came back to the United States and started to see life from a different angle, 2015 came swooping in and I graduated with a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Graphic Design. I currently have one furchild, an orange tabby cat called Ollie, who is absolutely obsessed with hair ties and eating my roommates' plants.

As a designer, I'm a rare breed; I'm one of the very few that doesn't depend on coffee for daily functions. I'm extremely detail-oriented, and love to tackle projects that start off with huge stacks of information and boil them down into a single, cohesive design. I have the most fun when I'm creating a cohesive publication, content for a website, or a headline for an in-store advertisement, and playing with words within the confines of the brand standards. I am obsessed with branding and brand identity; I love to help create a personality for a company and watch everything come together to bring the vision of the client to life in the eyes of their consumers.
